Hello there, this is Wes Bullock, Learning Experience Manager for a private institute based near Denver, Colorado. As a remote employee, I now reside down in the coastal plains of eastern North Carolina. Here's a little info on my background, just in case you were wondering...
Back in 2013, I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. After a little over a year of forecasting the weather and working as an Educational Director for USA Weather, I transitioned into teaching 7th grade science in Johnston County, NC, specifically at McGee's Crossroads Middle. This gave me the opportunity to teach weather, which, as you might guess, just happens to be one of my favorite topics. A few years later, I moved within the district to the new Career & Technical Leadership Academy at Johnston Community College. There, I taught Honors Earth & Environmental Science and Honors Biology at the high school level. After a year at CTLA, I entered the final semester of the graduate degree program I was concurrently working toward completing. In the spring of 2019, I ventured out to work as a Learning & Development Specialist with The Biltmore Company in Asheville, NC. This allowed me to complete an internship seminar so that I was able to happily graduate, May of 2019, with a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University. After many car trips through Wyoming, I fulfilled my dream of moving to the state in 2019. There, I concluded my seventh year in teaching with the Twin Spruce Junior High Warriors after the 2019-2020 school year. Now, after spending a couple of years exploring the outdoors around Gillette, WY, I find myself back on the east coast, fishing and living close to family once again. |
